How We Invest In Young People
Results That Count
The Louis Harris & Associates survey on Scouting proved how Scouting’s programs have a profound impact on young people at a time in life when youth are most susceptible to many negative influences. The survey revealed:
Men who were Scouts were more likely than those who have never been Scouts to:
- Graduate High School
- Graduate from College
- Earn higher annual household incomes
- Have lifelong friendships
- Value family relationships highly
- Believe helping others should come before one’s self interest
